With the MAHSOPA Annual Dinner to be held on Saturday, 15th. August 2009, MAHSOPA intends to publish a 48 pages Dinner Souvenir Programme. Contents of this proposed souvenir include write-up about MAHSOPA activities over the years, Malacca High School and articles which we want to share with fellow Malacca High School Alumni members.
In order for us to cover the costs of publishing this souvenir programme, MAHSOPA invites well-wishers, companies and fellow MAHSOPA members to advertise in this programme.
MALACCA HIGH SCHOOL TO BE DECLARED A CLUSTER SCHOOL IN MALAYSIA

Latest information received is that Malacca High School has made it into one of the latest batches of Cluster School in Malaysia. Malacca High Alumni Network members are very proud of Malacca High School being included as one of the Cluster School in Malaysia.

Welcome to the homepage of Melaka High School Old Pupils' Association in Federal Territory and Selangor (MAHSOPA).
MAHSOPA was established in 1976 so that old pupils residing in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor can meet up with each other irrespective of their years in Malacca High School.
From time to time, MAHSOPA has volunteered her services in raising funds for their Alma Mater such as for examination fees for poor pupils of the School.

CLASS OF 71 REUNION
TAMAN MELAKA RAYA: A grand reunion gathering cum buffet dinner by the poolside overlooking the Straits of Malacca at Holiday Inn is scheduled for the Malacca High School (MHS) Class of 71 Reunion on Saturday, 29 August 2009.
Organizing Chairman Ir Ng Cheu Kuan siad that it has been been more than three decades that many of the 71 classmates and schoolmates have not met since leaving school. Many of them have succeeded in their respective careers and have families of their own.
MAHSOPA CASUAL GATHERING ON LAST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH AT SHAH'S VILLAGE HOTEL, PJ

From June 2009, MAHSOPA will be holding their casual Monthly gathering for MAHSOPA members and former Malacca High pupils at Shah's Village Hotel, Petaling Jaya on the last Friday of each month.
This last Friday gathering is to foster fellowship and encourage bondage among Malacca High Alumni members of all ages to meet one another.
All former Malacca High Alumni members are encouraged to attend this monthly gathering at Shah's Village Village.

YESTERDAY was Teachers Day. A day of celebration and reflection, a break from politics and more politics.
Scan through the dailies, news portals and blogs, and one sees politics end to end.
Our daily lives seem to revolve around politics. It will be another three years at least before the next general election, but politics is very much on everyone's mind. It is already 14 months since the last election but we are still grappling with issues emanating from the results of that one.
