MAHSOPA will be organising this year's Annual Dinner at President's Room, Kelab Golf Negara Subang on Sunday,14th. November 2010.
Instead of a formal sit down dinner, this year's dinner will be a casual buffet style dinner.
MAHSOPA wants more former Malacca High pupils to attend this dinner as the cost for a dinner ticket is priced at only RM50.00 only.
At this affordable price, we expect more ex-pupils to attend this dinner.

Poh Chye, an alumnus of MHS, heads the TAMS (Tax Advisory and Management Services Sdn Bhd) and its group of companies. He has been the executive director of TAMS since its incorporation in 1983. Prior to this, he served in the Inland Revenue Department for 11 years and his last post was Senior Assistant Director in the International Tax Division.

Donations can be more than the nominal minimum sum if you wish to donate more.

TUN ABDULLAH SALLEH SCHOLARSHIP FUND
MAHSOPA is the custodian and Board of Trustees for the Tun Abdullah Salleh ScholarshipFund.The fund was set up by the Association on the 5th. day of July, 1978.
Previous to that date, the Association handed out examination fees under the Subsidy Scheme. Donations to the Fund are tax exempted vide Gazette Notification LN 1755/1979.
The first contributor was Datuk Tamby Chik bin Haji Hassan.
Over the years, a number of students have benefitted under the Subsidy Scheme.
The objectives of the Fund are :

Welcome to the homepage of Melaka High School Old Pupils' Association in Federal Territory and Selangor (MAHSOPA).
MAHSOPA was established in 1976 so that old pupils residing in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor can meet up with each other irrespective of their years in Malacca High School.
From time to time, MAHSOPA has volunteered her services in raising funds for their Alma Mater such as for examination fees for poor pupils of the School.

This MAHSOPA contribution has been our largest donation to our Alma Mater to date.
MALACCA HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY CEILING COLLAPSES

Age finally took its toll on the Malacca High School library when its ceiling collapsed on Friday night.
"Earlier on Friday,officers from the state Education Department had come to check on the school's buildings and had listed the library's as needing repair." state Education, Human Resource, Science and Technology Committee chairman Datuk Yaakub Md Amin said.
"But this morning, it had collapsed. I think it must have been caused by the weakened support structure due to old age and termite attacks." he said after visiting the library yesterday.
