TUN ABDULLAH SALLEH SCHOLARSHIP FUND

MAHSOPA is the custodian and Board of Trustees for the Tun Abdullah Salleh ScholarshipFund.The fund was set up by the Association on the 5th. day of July, 1978.

Previous to that date, the Association handed out examination fees under the Subsidy Scheme. Donations to the Fund are tax exempted vide Gazette Notification LN 1755/1979.

The first contributor was Datuk Tamby Chik bin Haji Hassan.

Over the years, a number of students have benefitted under the Subsidy Scheme.

The objectives of the Fund are :

  • to perpetuate the good name of Tun Abdullah Salleh;
  • to provide or assist students of the High School, Malacca, financially or otherwise;
  • to improve the standard of education in all disciplines at the High School, Malacca.

    Students of Malacca High who are in need of assistance are invited to submit their applications to MAHSOPA in writing.

  • Name of Applicant with photostat of I/C.
  • Results of SPM/STPM,
  • Year(s) in Malacca High School,
  • Type of Scholarship required,
  • Name of Parents/Occupation/Monthly Home Income
    and other important details
