During our last MAHSOPA Committee meeting held at Shah's Village Hotel, Petaling Jaya, one of the number of activities proposed, was the Life Membership Campaign. As the Life membership one off fees is only RM 25.00 per member, the committee felt that we should register as many new Life MAHSOPA members as possible.

Many of former Malacca High students are working and residing in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor but many of them are unaware of the existence of MAHSOPA. Members are encouraged to rope in former MHS students to join us.

MAHSOPAwill like to extend our best wishes to all MHS Alumni members and Malaysians worldwide for celebrating our 50th. birthday on 31st. August 2007.

As we celebrate our 50 years of Nationhood, we should also look back on our past successes and mistakes. Learn from them and if necessary, correct them and strive to greater heights.

Malacca High has a great motto - Meliora Hic Sequamur in Latin which stands for "Here we strive for better things". So, for all Malaysians, we should also strive for better things as we look ahead for the next 50 years.
